Also Henk Gooyer taught Wim the art of painting large decorations, used in the theatres in Utrecht, Amsterdam and The Hague.

After completing the compulsory military service, Wim took on his first job as graphic artist and illustrator; soon after he was promoted to Art Director and CEO of several art organizations.
In the meanwhile Wim continued painting in his spare time and was discovered by an international art house specializing in Dutch landscapes. They signed an agreement and soon after his paintings were sold all across the world!
Wim loves painting landscapes, natural beauty’s and people, and puts these to either murals or wall paintings.
His last exhibition in a well known Dutch art village Kortenhoef was an overwhelming success were Wim sold almost his entire collection of rather large paintings. In autumn 2008 Wim commissioned huge wall paintings for a health and fitness centre.
In 2007 his children migrated to Landegode in Norway and Wim and his wife are now regular guests of our country. He is really impressed by the extraordinary natural beauty of Norway, Landegode and all its hidden treasures. “I hope I will be given many healthy years to be able to paint all the beautiful landscapes in the Nordland and Lofoten”.
At the moment he is working on an exhibition of his Norwegian landscapes in Holland.
